Reset or Change Your Password

If you forget your password, MDSteps makes it easy to reset securely. If you’re already logged in, you can change your password from your dashboard at any time.

Forgot Your Password? (Reset Flow)

  1. Go to the Login page (from the MDSteps home page, click Login).
  2. Click Forgot Password.
  3. Enter your account email address and submit.
  4. Check your inbox for the reset link and open it.
  5. Choose a new password and confirm.

Already Logged In? (Change Password in Dashboard)

  1. Open Dashboard → Account → Profile.
  2. Click Change Password.
  3. Enter your current password, then your new password, and save.

Password Rules

  • Minimum length: 8+ characters
  • Composition: include both uppercase and lowercase letters, and at least one number or symbol
  • Best practice: use a unique passphrase you don’t reuse on other sites

Troubleshooting

  • Check spam/junk (and Gmail Promotions/Social tabs) for the reset email.
  • Verify the address you entered matches your MDSteps account email (see Dashboard → Account → Profile if you can log in).
  • Try a personal email if you used a school/work address that filters external mail.
  • Still stuck? Open a ticket at mdsteps.com/support (no login required) so we can check delivery logs and assist.

Security Tips

  • Use a reputable password manager to generate and store strong passwords.
  • Don’t share your login; avoid reusing this password on other sites.
  • If you reset your password due to suspicious activity, also review active sessions and update your email password.
