Account Deletion & Privacy
We respect your privacy and will permanently delete your account and data upon request. Account deletion is not self-service — please contact us to delete your account.
Important: Deleting your account permanently purges all user data — including QBank progress, reviews/notes, flashcards, CCS activity, analytics, and streaks. This action cannot be undone.
How to Request Deletion
- Log in to your student dashboard (to verify identity).
- Open Dashboard → Account and choose Support / Contact, or email us directly at support@mdsteps.com.
- Include the subject: “Delete my account” and the email tied to your account.
- We’ll confirm by email and proceed with deletion. You’ll receive a final confirmation once it’s completed.
Note: We delete your study data in full. Minimal records required for billing/compliance may be retained as legally necessary.
Between USMLE Steps?
Good to know: If you’re between Steps, your account is inactive and not being charged. You can resume anytime — just start a new Step and sign up for access to that Step’s review material from Dashboard → Account.
If you plan to return later and want to keep your history, do not delete your account. Keep it inactive instead.
