How do I delete my account?

Account Deletion & Privacy

We respect your privacy and will permanently delete your account and data upon request. Account deletion is not self-service — please contact us to delete your account.


How to Request Deletion

  1. Log in to your student dashboard (to verify identity).
  2. Open Dashboard → Account and choose Support / Contact, or email us directly at support@mdsteps.com.
  3. Include the subject: “Delete my account” and the email tied to your account.
  4. We’ll confirm by email and proceed with deletion. You’ll receive a final confirmation once it’s completed.

Note: We delete your study data in full. Minimal records required for billing/compliance may be retained as legally necessary.


Between USMLE Steps?

If you plan to return later and want to keep your history, do not delete your account. Keep it inactive instead.


At-a-Glance

• Deletion: Contact support → confirm → data permanently purged
• Not self-service: No Delete button; request via support
• Between Steps: Account is inactive (no charges); resume when ready via Dashboard → Account
