Refunds & Money-Back Policy
MDSteps is an instant-access digital platform; therefore all sales are generally final and refunds are not offered.
Important: Because access to QBank, CCS, and downloads begins immediately after purchase, refunds are typically not available.
Limited 3-Day Review (Exceptions Only)
In rare cases we may grant a refund as a courtesy if all of the following are true:
- Within 3 days of purchase, and
- ≤ 40 QBank questions attempted, and
- ≤ 1 CCS cases completed. (if Step 3)
Notes: This exception is intended for mistaken purchases or immediate technical issues. Requests outside these limits are unlikely to be approved.
How to Request a Refund (If Eligible)
- Open Dashboard → Support and submit a ticket (or email support@mdsteps.com).
- Include: order ID, purchase date, account email, and a brief reason.
Processing time: If approved, refunds are issued back to your original payment method within 30 days.
Alternatives to Refunds
- Pause/Inactive between Steps: If you’re between USMLE Steps, your account can remain inactive (no charges) until you start a new Step and enroll again.
- Plan adjustments: Contact Support if you need help choosing the right Step or term length.
